She began her stage career in the year she portrayed Jeanne d'Arc, in a stage production in school. In the year she turned 16 years old, older, she was awarded the lead role in the International Munich Arts Lab's Hip Hopera. Traue was a part of the production of Hip Hopera and performed for the duration of four seasons. She performed in Germany Europe as well as New York City. Traue went on to appear in television shows such as Kleinruppin Forever Berlin at Meer as well as Phantomschmerz. Her birthplace was in NYC, and she was raised as a child on the island called Jamaica. Her parents came from Jamaica but they relocated into New York.
